AI Compliance Analyst
At Verda, we're building a fully featured European AI cloud, covering everything needed to train, experiment with, and deploy AI models at scale.
We are a full-stack AI infrastructure company, meaning we design, operate, and optimize the compute powering modern AI workloads across training and inference. Our infrastructure runs on 100% renewable energy, helping build a more sustainable AI ecosystem.
Join Verda while it’s still being built - not once it’s finished.
About the role
Operating at the leading edge of European cloud infrastructure, we treat responsible deployment as a core pillar of our build process. With the EU AI Act now in effect and the supervisory framework operational, the regulatory landscape is shifting rapidly. We need an AI Compliance Analyst to take full ownership of this domain at Verda.
You will collaborate across engineering, legal, security, and product departments to ensure our systems fulfill every regulatory mandate from documentation and risk assessment, to incident management and audits. This hands-on position is for a problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity, understands the practicalities of ethical AI, and wants to guide a high-growth firm through a defining era of tech regulation.
What you’ll be doing
Contribute to Verda’s strategy for compliance with the EU AI Act, ensuring precise risk categorization and documentation.
Drive the integration of ISO 42001, establishing high-level governance benchmarks that scale alongside our expanding product ecosystem.
Contributing to the maintenance and management of the overall company risk register and ensuring AI-specific risks are accounted for.
Synchronize AI-specific mandates with all frameworks and regulatory requirements, such as theGDPR and NIS2, to maintain a unified compliance posture across our entire stack.
Contribute to cross-functional audits and third-party risk evaluations, serving as a subject matter expert for AI safety.
Work with our AI lab to construct and maintain robust control logs and audit trails, creating a transparent record of our commitment to ethical AI operation.
Proactively identify emerging global standards and technical best practices to keep Verda at the forefront of responsible AI infrastructure.
What you’ll bring to Verda
At least two years of professional experience across compliance, legal, or information security domains.

An academic background in law, data privacy, or security—or a portfolio of equivalent hands-on achievements.
A deep-seated curiosity about AI architecture; the ability to translate technical mechanics into regulatory strategy.
