Content Marketing Manager
Imagine a world where every performance benchmark and technical writeup an AI engineer encounters is grounded in real work and worth the read — content that respects their time and meets them where they actually are.
At Verda, we're building a fully featured European cloud computing platform designed for AI workloads. Content is the direct representation of who we are and what we stand for. We need an in-house editor who turns the work of our internal AI Lab, broader team, and ecosystem partners into a steady stream of high-craft technical content.
Join Verda while it's still being built — not once it's finished.

Practicalities
Location: Helsinki, Finland or London, UK
Hybrid: Working from the office 3 days a week
Employment type: Full-time and permanent
About the role
You will own Verda's editorial calendar and cadence end-to-end — performance benchmarks, deployment guides, applied-research papers, customer stories, and product launches — shipping consistently against our GTM priorities.
You will coordinate production across the AI Lab, AI Developer Advocate, Product Marketing, and ecosystem partners. You will edit deeply technical content for clarity without distorting substance, and write the informational and narrative pieces yourself.
You will direct the SEO/GEO agency and external writers, integrating their input into the editorial plan. You will know when to scale with additional agency or freelance support, and hold a high bar for the work you accept regardless of who delivers it.
You will work closely with Product Marketing — they own positioning, you own the cadence and craft of how it shows up. As the function matures, you will build the network of contributors that lets the editorial engine scale.
Your key competencies
5+ years in content marketing or editorial roles, with at least 2 years editing technical content for developer or research-grade audiences
Strong editorial judgement — you know what's worth publishing, what needs another pass, and how to push work to a high bar
Technical enough to fact-check, simplify without distorting, and earn the respect of the researchers and engineers whose work you're shaping
A capable writer in your own right; you can shift between editing and writing without losing voice
Strong cross-stakeholder coordination across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams
Proficient in directing agencies and external contributors, with a clear bar for the quality of work you accept
Experience with — or genuine curiosity about — generative engine optimization (GEO) and how technical content earns citations from AI assistants
Nice to have
Experience at cloud infrastructure, data platform, or developer tool product companies
Familiarity with the AI developer community and the kinds of content that earn its attention and trust
Have built networks of external contributors and/or ambassador or champion programs
