About the role
We’re looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to support Verda’s day-to-day financial operations as we grow. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in a fast-scaling technology company.
You’ll work closely with the finance team and collaborate with other functions across the business, helping ensure that our financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities
Support day-to-day finance operations, including processing invoices and assisting with accounts payable and receivable
Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist with month-end close activities and reconciliations
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth billing and payment processes
Support basic reporting and data tracking
Help improve and document finance processes as the company scales
Assist with audits and coordination with external partners when needed
Your key competencies
1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field (internships included)
Basic understanding of financial processes such as invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Organised and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets and AI tools
Nice-to-haves
Relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Experience with accounting or ERP systems
Exposure to startup or high-growth environments
Interest in technology, AI, or infrastructure
