About the role

We’re looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to support Verda’s day-to-day financial operations as we grow. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in a fast-scaling technology company.

You’ll work closely with the finance team and collaborate with other functions across the business, helping ensure that our financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities

• Support day-to-day finance operations, including processing invoices and assisting with accounts payable and receivable

• Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Assist with month-end close activities and reconciliations

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth billing and payment processes

• Support basic reporting and data tracking

• Help improve and document finance processes as the company scales

• Assist with audits and coordination with external partners when needed

Your key competencies

• 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field (internships included)

• Basic understanding of financial processes such as invoicing, payments, and reconciliations

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Organised and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets and AI tools

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

• Experience with accounting or ERP systems

• Exposure to startup or high-growth environments

• Interest in technology, AI, or infrastructure
